The women and 60+ men started yesterday Tuesday, June 8th.
The men solo race started an noon EDT today, June 9th. We expect
the first riders in Oxford sometime after midnight, Wednesday,June
16 and the last to pass through Blanchester the morning of Saturday,
June 19.
You can keep up with the race by visiting our website www.ohioraam.org.
You can see
the rolling Twitter posts with chatter from race crews, media
crews and just fans along the route. See posts of text, photos
and videos as they happen. You can see who has arrived and forecasts
of who is expected next.
As the racers approach Ohio, the staff at Oxford and Blanchester
will begin to post and you will see arrivals, weather conditions
and other news tidbits. We think this will give you insight into
the race that you have never had before.
We will also collect the video reports from the media crews
as well as fans. You will find them under the [Photos, Videos
and News] tab at the top right of the home page.
Best of all, drop by during the race and become involved yourself.
Veteran time staff will be able to fill you in on what has happened,
is happening and about to happen. Be careful. RAAM watching can
be addictive.
Thanks to all who have volunteered and covered both Oxford
and Blanchester time stations around the clock. RAAM happens
because of you. |
