Welcome to our newest supporters to the time stations!
The Cincinnati Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mojo Running in West Chester, Xavier High School Cycling Club, and Milford High School. Also Bronze Photography and VBL Photography will be taking pictures between the time stations. We now have five high schools committed to helping us this year. However, we could always use more especially from the west side of town as there are many time slots to fill and other roles outside the time stations. If your high school, business, or organization would be interested in playing a part, please let us know.

New race posters are available
Help us spread the word about the race by posting them in your work place, school, or town. The posters are scalable to both 11x17 and 8½x11. You can download them here.
To have a hard copy mailed to you, contact, Jim Lawyer
Also check out and download the new tri-fold brochure to distribute at your school and work place.Great job, Jim!
India has first ever racer qualify for RAAM
According to Twitter, Samin Rizvi (India) has qualified for RAAM 2010. Recently Canadian RAAM veteran Tony O'Keefee has entered the 2010 race. Also, Austrian Gerhard Gulewicz's web site mentions his intentions to race in 2010.
Be sure to check out our race roster and profiles tabs as we periodically change them as new racers sign up and others drop out all the way up to the start of the race.
It is time to volunteer for RAAM 2010
In 2009 over 50 people volunteered at one of our two time stations. We could have easily used twice that many. You or your group can sign up now and get your favorite slot . Doing so early helps us to better gauge what spots might need filling so we can better prepare for any shortages. We are open 24 hours a day and we do need people working during the night. Some of our veterans like the midnight shift because it is cool and they often get to see more of the riders and crews who often stop for rest and repair at night. See this youtube.com video RAAM at night.
To Sign up:
First:
go to this page and check the times available.
Second: use this form to sign up for work at one of the time stations.
The work isn't really work but a lot of fun. See the volunteer tab for more details of what to bring, what to expect, and where you can play a role. Just one warning though, working at one can be very addictive. Even after a shift ends it isn't unusual for volunteers to still hang around and in some cases show up even early to catch more of the race. We welcome it!
