We are anxious to have your photos of RAAM 2011 taken in Southwestern
Ohio. You do not have to be a professional photographer nor have
an expensive camera to take great photos. One of the best photos
we've ever had submitted was taken by a casual spectator with
a small point and shoot camera.
Photos
- We would like photos taken between the Indiana/Ohio State
line and Chillicothe Ohio concentrating on Time Stations 41 (Oxford)
and 42 (Blanchester).
- You can submit your photos by uploading them to the OHIORAAM2011
group on flicker.com. Membership
in flicker.com is free. You can join the OHIORAAM2011 here.
- ,When you have uploaded your photos to flicker.com then:
- Caption each photo. In the description answer the questions
who, what, when, where as completely as possible. The more descriptive
information you can give about the photo the more interest it
will have.
- Click on the "Action" drop down menu and tag the
photo for OHIORAAM2011.
- Learn how to geotag your photos. This is not required but
is very helpful. Click on the map to the right of the photo,
find the general area in which the photo was taken and move the
pin to as close to the location of the subject as you can.
- You may add your own restrictions to the photo. You may copyright,
but most use Creative Commons settings.
- You may submit up to 10 photos per day.
- We will have a link in our Photos, Videos and News page on our web site.
- We may want to use your photo for the web site, newsletter
or posters. We will not do that without first seeking your permission.
If you did not upload full size photo, we may ask you to email
us that file. Please keep track of your photos in your system.
- If you have questions contact the Webmaster/editor.
